From Sid Huff: Ah, a trip down memory lane. I was blessed to be at Tech during their fabulous run. Do you remember that when Charles McDaniel's nickname of 'Quick Six' caught on, they changed his jersey number from [No 27 at Springhill] to SIX [at La. Tech].
From Cynthia Aillet Murry: Very interesting. I have vague memories of that time. My Dad (Coach Joe Aillet) had retired and then passed away in 1971, so I didn't hear so much about this.
