Larsen. I played B-flat and E-flat clarinet, marching in many parades and football half time shows, in addition to many concerts over the years. Mr. Larsen's way of instilling military-like discipline and quest of perfection helped immensely to prepare me for entering the Air Force during the Vietnam War. I have tried off and on to find any information on Mr. Larsen, including searching of obituaries, but only info I had was Bossier City locale and of course over the years he could have moved to another city in LA or another state. Since your comment includes "RIP" I now know he has passed away. Do you have any link or additional info on when this occurred? My fondest memories of those years was the friends I had and still have today. Well done BHS!Nico Van Thynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07072351355184106484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5125402567351329247.post-12523857253208290772017-05-09T20:57:36.962-05:002017-05-09T20:57:36.962-05:00From Jeff Jarrell: Not only did my mom and her bro...From Jeff Jarrell: Not only did my mom and her brother and sister graduate in the 1950s, my brother and sister graduated in the 1970s, my wife and her brother and I graduated in 1988 and her sister in 1984, but our daughter also graduated in 2010. My mom, Laura Carolyn Underwood (Peaches) and my sister Tammy Jarrell Stanfill played the flute, were majorettes and drum major of the best band around. My brother, Randy Jarrell, played football and ran track. My uncle, Roy Underwood Jr. (Dee), ran track there and later was a coach at Bossier.Nico Van Thynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07072351355184106484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5125402567351329247.post-14218252016516875502017-05-09T08:11:08.770-05:002017-05-09T08:11:08.770-05:00Nico, your enduring support for student athletes a...Nico, your enduring support for student athletes across our region, in all sports, and at all levels of play provided encouragement and opened the doors of opportunity for many athletes.
